Meet Your Designer/Florist

Jenneh Yawu

Hello, I'm so glad that you've made your way over to our website.

My name is Jenneh Yawu, popularly known as Jenny and I am the owner of Glitz N Glam Events NC based out of Durham, NC. 

I am a Certified Event designer and an experienced florist. 

I was a licensed cosmetologist for over 8 years so transforming lives and spaces is what I do Best. For me, creating something that previously did not exist is so intoxicating and addictive. I love creating lush textured floral designs while also providing full event design services, Balloons and rentals. I have been in the industry for about 5 years and I absolutely love what I do. 

I’m lucky to have been able to turn one of my passions into my career.

Waking up every blessed morning and having the opportunity to create something new and unique for the most important moments of others lives by sharing joy through my design is an amazing gift that I do not take lightly. 

I am a dedicated wife and mother of 3 and when I’m not designing events I’m busy transforming the lives 

of Neurodivergent individuals and their families with my international non profit organization "Reina's Legacy of Hope". 

There's a never ending stream of inspiration everywhere but my main source of inspiration and driven passion streams from my place of birth, Liberia, west Africa,

Celebrations are a huge part of My West African culture.

From our vibrant colors to our natural elements and our Rich Textured, I’ve worked to keep the tradition alive and melded my skills with the desire to 

create contemporary event experiences with nuances of culture appealing to Clients from all walks of life.
